
HDP Co-chair detained: Police pointed gun to child's head

	AYDIN - Ortajlar HDP District Co-Chair Tekin Erikli was detained during a raid on his home early this morning. It was learned that the police held a gun to Tekin's 12 year old son's head.

	In the Ortaklar district of Aydın, Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) District Co-chair Tekin Erikli was detained during a raid on his home. Erikli was taken into custody on grounds of his social media activity. It was learned that the police laid his family members on the floor and held a gun to his son's head.&nbsp;

	&nbsp;

	It was also learned that police threatened mother Gülizar Erikli when she reacted to the situation and told not to 'push her luck, or else'. &nbsp;It was learned that Erikli was first taken to the Ortaklar Police Station in the district and then to the Aydın Provincial Security Directorate TEM Branch.
