'Defense rally' of the lawyers kicks off

	İSTANBUL – The rally organized bu lawyers against the bill presented by the AKP have started in front of Çağlayan Court House in İstanbul.

	 

	The “Defense Rally” organized by the Istanbul Bar in front of the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan against the draft law submitted by the AKP-MHP government to the parliament, to change the election system of the bar associations started with the participation of hundreds of lawyers. While the rally area was closed with police barriers many hours ago, lawyers entered the area with their togs. The lawyers are shouting the slogan 'The defense have never been silenced and never will be'.

	 

	The rally where the lawyers are holding a banner written: 'We will defend the right to defense', continues with the speech of Bar President Mehmet Durakoğlu.
